Who We Work For

Barrow-in-Furness Surveyor

Matthew Parkinson has extensive experience across a wide range of property matters. As such, he is able to assist a broad spectrum of clients, from home owners to property investors, housing associations, banks, to commercial property tenants.

Whoever the client is, Matthew prides himself on providing a professional yet cost-effective service.

Matthew is usually instructed directly by the client, be that a home owner, property investor or Company Director. He is also regularly instructed by solicitors to provide our expert services and professional reports to help with probate, matrimonial settlements or property disputes/litigation. In this respect, Matthew also has the ability to attend court and act as an Expert Witness.

As a RICS Registered Valuer, Matthew also works for various housing associations and lenders, providing Valuation Reports.

During his career, Matthew has worked on everything from Valuation Reports for home buyers planning on moving house right through to Project Managing multi-million pound development sites. Matthew knows that no matter the size of the property or transaction under consideration, the decisions to be made are of paramount importance to the client. As such, Matthew always aims to provide a personal service to all of his clients, making himself available at the end of the phone or email to discuss the findings of the reports he has undertaken. This reassurance means clients are able to access all of Matthew’s knowledge and gain the most of their experience of instructing his services.

Clients who live or have property in Lancaster, Morecambe, North Lancashire, South Cumbria or the surrounding areas are also able to benefit from Matthew’s local knowledge.

Since amalgamating his practice with Lea Hough & Co in 2018, Matthew’s clients now have access to a range of further specialist services including:

  • CIF funding applications for academy schools
  • Sales, lettings and property management services
  • Architectural Design and Project Management
